i can mostly agree to chocolate lady , this manhwa feels like it was made to express the injustice of world and what makes it even more rare is the romance in it , as the lady described it and how it expresses the suffering of people and that kinda gives you a lesson, once upon a time in my class i had the role of Kim Yul…..it pained a lot but since that event the people found a new subject to bully n my suffering came down a bit, i have been bullied bcz of my physique for YEARS but i always chugged it down n after some struggle, made people respect me bcz only i helped them in studies/tests(cheating on tests etc) n now they even have to beg me for it. it really feels good to crush ur haters.

In terms of depth, this can even rival ORV. This manhwa right here depicts human sufferings that people like us who live in comfortable homes cannot even imagine. It teaches righteousness that in their world would long since be forgotten and informs us of the reasons why it is not. This manhwa depicts various human emotions, their true forms, how these emotions came to be, what they lead to. etc etc. If this is not good you can’t truly say there are many stories that are good.

On the second note, the villain, sure he is pathetic, but that doesn’t change the fact that he was the one to first kill Kim Gongja, it was when Gonja really thought he would die, furthermore the death was caused by burning no less, one of the most painful ways to die. Imagine how traumatic that feeling must’ve been. The reason he wasn’t that afraid for his following deaths was because he already experienced death once and he knows he wouldn’t die. But that doesn’t mean the initial fear he felt never existed. This makes flame emperor’s importance in Mc’s life even greater. I can give another long paragraph of how much importance this villain has in Gonja’s life. This fact right here has very much depth to it, even if it seems insignificant at first. Just imagine how much depth everything else has.

@Dragonking22 Let me tell you why this is so good. First of with the romance, 97% of most action manhwas either doesn’t have any romance or the ones with romance doesn’t at all express the mc’s feelings, those manhwas usually depict these kinds of Mcs as either very dense or perverted or they are harem where the female characters only chase after the Mcs feeling all shy and blushing. On that note this manhwa is a rare find, if you have read romance manhwas then you would’ve understood just how good this is. It has the very essence of romance.

After finally catching up and reading this I have to say it’s ass the romance is basic honestly not that good don’t know why y’all gas it up if anything it tried showing too much of it and it’s extremely slow and he extremely carried by his skill and not using it to his maximum potential all because his wife said don’t die again fuck you I do whatever I want that’s what I would have said the “Bad guy” wasn’t even that bad he was a dick but not a terrible one the guy was suspicious of you when you was with the girl that killed you but you hate him but that old man you I don’t know how many times but you respect him clearly biased so why don’t you kill yourself a bunch of times again to kill the old man I should have known when they introduced that damn kid the story would have slowed down y’all must be some basic readers cause ain’t no way y’all glazing this up when even the people who is reading the light novel admit it’s trash
