As much as I wanted to give this manhwa the benefit of the doubt, there’s still a line where you shouldn’t let other people cross when it comes to respect. In one bubble speech, FL mentioned that she doesn’t want to rely on ML and wanted to stand for herself(signifying her position as the duchess), so why IS she letting people disrespecting her? We should also keep in mind that if someone does bad deeds— there’s ALWAYS consequences. Like in children, you shouldn’t reward them for doing something bad, you’re just giving courage for them to continue, “oh, if I mistreatment her, I wouldn’t get punished for it! I’ll get rewarded instead.” She’s trying SO hard to look like a saint but it just backfires, making her looks like a total idiot. Don’t get me wrong, I do enjoy reading cliche manhwas but there’s something that always irks me, you know?
