Either mc is just flexing and putting his hand behind him or author doesn’t know the proper stance for a thrusting style cus the hand should be on the side on your waist and be used for grappling your opponent after parrying his attack with your sword or parrying with your hand because having a hand on the side is easy to access and out of the way so it doesn’t get cut
