   You got to remember she grew up with and cares a lot for these kids. Her top priority was to keep them safe and provide care for them. Her mind is on protection mode, not let me think this through mode.

   I agree what was her plan? Just run there to end up being kidnapped or killed it’s not like she has any training to handle these situations

   Honestly she’s so dumb. Like she literally knows the main antagonist of the novel. Even if she didn’t know that the princess is the main antagonist now she should still know or be able to guess that other girl is behind all of the stuff going on. Not to mention she could literally have notified the king of what happened since she’s his secretary. I’m tired of people having positions of power and not using said power when they should be. You’re literally just a normal woman besides your position why would you rush out to do anything by yourself. The most likely end would just be the children and you dying if they were really kidnapped
