@Avrgrando because his dad blamed him for his wife’s death, definitely didn’t put any effort into raising him, he even decided to ignore him since chapter 1. He only ever listen to what he wanted to hear from the physician, the die young part, and think of him as a bad omen. The physician also said if he was born in a prominent sect, they would put every effort to help him because of his potential. If not, he will have to reach enlightenment by himself(probably by luck) or die young. If his dad truly care about him, I imagine he would do everything in his power to get his son into powerful sect if he truly cares about him. Only in his final moment he finally acknowledged him as his son, just because he was strong.

The thing that makes least sense out of everything is why his father was shocked about how good his son was at martial arts. His doctor friend told him in the first chapter.

Valhau if you have read the starting properly there he says his baihui? point is open which is above the head which means his understanding of martial arts are on par becuase martial artist dies whule while trying to open that point while his already open so thats why he can grasp anything he see and understand

ok i really thought this would be better but then i saw he got op for no reason so i might drop this right here right now. I like the art though so i think i will stay and see how this drags out.
