@Hollyberry i disagree with you i think her mother said that specifically so they wouldn’t suspect Paricel as her father, she was trying to keep him alive and Paricel is trying to stay alive, the reason he doesn’t talk to his daughter is so people don’t suspect him and yes its sad and unfair to the princess but i don’t think you should hate him for that
I hate her mother for writing that her father is an enemy knight knowing that her people hate them. She set her up to have a worse life at the court with that lie. Also by handing her baby to any damn body who clearly wasn’t enthusiastic to take on a child. Her dad being actionless also sucks hardcore
