To be honest the sister may sound kind and considerate now, but she becomes a total bitch later, in the original story. She becomes the Crown Princess and then tortures and evicts all the other concubines, including that cute little girl in the blue kimono. It is the MC that saves all those concubines and the common folk from his sister’s cruelty. The whole thing just blows up when demons invade the country and everyone dies.
