Just so you guys know, Joshua is more than 15 years older than Jin. He has more influence and more experience than him, and he is clearly stronger than him. Also, that sword he has in quite special. It will be revealed later but that sword can counter Shadow Energy, so he is at a natural disadvantage. You say power scaling is bad, but Jin is not even 9-star on his swordsmanship yet, and Joshua has already surpassed 10-star for quite a while now. Among his siblings, only Luna can actually go head to head with Joshua and wound him, but still I doubt if the fight would end up with Luna killing Joshua because of how narrow the power gap is.

Most authors are extremely bad at power scaling take a look at what’s going on in beginning after the end. Happens so often with a lot of these webtoons man. One that is going a good job on it rn is solo leveling ragnorak imo

Power scaling is really bad, all of the training he had with battle kings, has a contract with one of the strongest gods + contracted Tess and can use both magic and sword techniques. All of that is to get destroyed by his older brother that is not even close to Luna which in turn not even close to his Father.
