You dumbfucks just want a happy-go-lucky story where the main character always wins witout any losses whatsoever, but guess what, life isn’t like that. I know now you will say that we read fantasy stories not for it to be realistic, and I agree, but, it is really refreshing when you see the MC struggle continously only to fall short and retreat in the end. And unlike other stories where the MC gets riduculously overpowered from the start and then grazes his way through all his opponents, Jin is weak and I like it. Regression didn’t mean shit to him because he had to learn everything the hard way. It was not a New Game+ for Jin in his second life, it was a Sequel. He faced entirely different circumstances and learnt lessons through blood, sweat and tears. Even though he fell short almost every time, he never gave up and kept sticking to his ideals and convictions, and that is what is amazing about him. To be honest, Jin Runcandel could very well be classified as the best Regression MC in my book. He deserves everything he has achieved and when he finally stands at the top, he can proudly look down and smile knowing that each one of his steps were taken with determination, will, courage, but also desperation, and anxiety.

I think all of you need to chill out a bit, I understand if you don’t like the character or do, doesn’t mean you have to be a dick about it. You can express your opinion like a decent person and not rave like a lunatic that seems to have some sort of vendetta, makes you seem like an asshole. If you don’t like the story read something else and leave constructive criticism like an adult on the way out.

The writer had the knowledge to write it with a Sense of manga taste. Have you watched one piece or Naruto or bleach or any other manga if there don’t stumble then there would be no story.
