Though… if a fight were to break out… there’s going to be magic casted in this territory. It’d be difficult to say who casted what in that situation. And….. his father knows that he can cast magic. He’s not outing him because he believes that he can free the family from the Zipfels. “As long as you don’t get blatantly caught I’ll look the other way”
Basically he’s just has to hide it from his siblings. And anyone else who means him harm.
