I would have liked to see her suffer more, to be quite honest! But this was a very satisfying end. I’m glad that she got everything she ever cared for ripped away, torn, ruined, and crushed before her eyes, and toyed with the way she toyed with others, forced into a reversal of a hopeless power dynamic and no escape.
A part of me would have loved to see her torture dragged out. In a cell across from the beast – or like someone else mentioned, to lick the poison from the floor. Honestly there’s not much the author could have chose that I wouldn’t have felt completely okay with. People who murder, cheat, lie, steal, and abuse and harm children with no remorse, etc – the worst of the worst and deserve to have their vitriol returned many fold.
Although this kinda troupe is very common in these types of manhwa where the stepmother/aunt/guardian abuses the child I’ve never been so geniunely physically disgusted before specially by this aunts audacity, this was an extremely satisfying chapter to read maube kinda even lacking shouldve had more torture like maybe injecting all sorts of non life threatening but painful poisons or getting burried with insects and skinning her alive before throwing her into that cell. But anyway this chapter was good.
I think it would have been better to put her in a cell next to the monsters and then she would have to watch it kill and eat every single day living in constant fear that she would be next, and feed her stale or rotten food like she had fed Beaty all those years.
Also making her live locked up for years in a cell like that would pay for how Beaty was locked up.
@animehuntress I agree! It’s a way worse punishment to have to live out the rest of your life with no assets and no title. Getting eaten only last a few seconds vs 40+ years of her having nothing.
