@emevee, i think you are getting the wrong idea, ever since her relationship with mincheol she is insecure and feels that she is a withered flower who has lost her prime and no guy would stick around her for long, therefore she is afraid to acknowledge her feelings about taeha. taeha is kinda tired of her trying to be like that and wants her to admit it. tho it is a bit of a mature and dark romance genre but i think its normal how haesoo is acting after being cheated on. and he isnt like mincheol who doesnt even know his own flaws, he ADMITS that he has a toxic side and that he is obsessed with her. so idk if im getting it right but just my opinion not trying to debate.

Taeha is becoming toxic. I really detest plots of clueless FLs being toyed with. It’s as if fiction is telling you being a decent, caring, sweet woman makes you boring and gullible, so the only spice in your life is how your romantic interests twist your feelings needlessly.
The story is basically saying that, were she less attractive and mediocre at her housecare skills, nobody would love her. Because she’s good and reliable, thus boring.
Seriously, at this point I think the only non-toxic male here is the bodyguard. Poor guy, he doesn’t get paid enough.
