Just expanding on something Jasmine says in the comments, cause for fiction it’s a good twist but IRL this is really a bad move. Toxic is easy to say, but the real issue is not just making the recipient of the manipulation lacking self-confidence, but also how much it damages trust and the ability to create a stable foundation in a relationship. It creates a long lasting distrust that this person will ever not be “testing” you, maybe even going so far as to actually cheat. Blaming the victim is quite cruel here – she has been cheated on already and very recently! Her ex upended her entire LIFE. Of course she’s dishonest about her feelings, and still working through it. She needs to work on it. But he’s actively manipulating the situation, KNOWING about the ex.
Again as I said, great for fiction, awful for IRL. Don’t let a guy treat you like this.

He wasn’t trying to intentionally make her feel insecure. He was trying to gage if she like him the way he likes her. A woman whose no interested in a romantic relationship (like she keeps saying) would mostly likely never brought up the perfume. Her bringing it up shows she does like him romantically. Tbh Taeha has been pretty honest about how he feels, Nae Soo pushed it away from the very beginning. If there is one person in this duo that’s being emotionally dishonest, it Nae Soo. Taeha may not be completely honest about his home life (which we don’t fully know why yet) but he’s always showm genuine affection towards her and doesn’t try to hide it.

I almost feel bad for that young girl by how innocent and naive she appears but she knew Kang Minchul was in a relationship with Na Haesoo and broke them up. This story seems like its going to be sad. Like Kang Minchul will probably unalive himself at the end of this. I knew what I was getting into when I read this but its finally starting to fully set in.
