Here’s my theory: Irina isn’t Count Lakers daughter. She doesn’t look like the rest of the family, even her trash ex Henry looks more like her family than she does (though I doubt he’s related to the Lakers, that would be quite a soap opera, even if he looks so similar to Irina’s brother). In the first episode, in MC’s previous life her trash ex said something about her having some great powers. What if she was taken away from her real parents and raised for so longspecifically for the purpose of taking her powers away once they’re at their peak? Also, the count seems to have been poisoning her for a long time, but why? If it was just about the powers he could brainwash her and make her use it for the sake of the family, but he seems to want them for himself. Either he’s just simply some power hungry narcissist or there is more to the story. It almost feels like he’s hating the MC for personal reasons, what if her real parents were his enemies? Also in the first chapter Irina while dying/being reborn has a vision of a man with red hair, very much like her own, maybe he is her real father? I don’t know, it’s all just a hypothesis, sorry for rambling if anyone reads it, but I felt I had to share my suspicions.
