I don’t see why there’s so much hate for Irina. She’s physically weak due to being poisoned over a long period of time, and she’s pretending to be naive and silly to trick her horrible family. She’s cautious to not catch feelings for Ian right now because she’s not sure she can trust him. Yes she’s using him but he is also using her. I do think he genuinely likes her especially when she’s sassy. He mentioned he hates phony people. Anyway, she needs him because he’s obviously better than her family. I really like Ian too. He’s unhinged and I’m here for it! Also, I feel sorry for Rene and I hope she’ll gather the courage to turn on her father and the creepy Prince andally herself with Irene.
