@Dididiego bro, he is literally the world’s only forbidden mage. He was so OP that they had to erase his name from all Imperial records, just to make sure that there were no issues that would get him entangles in; becaus if that had happened, the people he sides with would, not only be able to rule the Empire, but most probably the entire world. So of course he has a lot of savings. He is the only 9th Circle Mage in the Empire. That means he was the unofficial head of the Mage Corps and also a figure that even the Emperor could not subjugate.
