I think he’s going to abandon her after making her fell in love with him…just like what she did to him but I hope he won’t cause the FL already has a past life that her ex bf cheated and abandoned her…so she used to it about being abandoned 🙂
@Amreah I believe that makes sense. Now that I think about his goal is to subject her to the same treatment he experienced. Make her desperate for him then abandon her in the same way. He both hates and obsesses over her. This is the calm before the storm
@Annyaa, I think he’s scared of her because she’s quite literally the subject of his trauma, and he’s obsessed with getting over her. But also, it seems his biggest gripe with her is that she “abandoned” him. In the novel, he escaped after coming to realize that he was brainwashed and he wanted to escape on his own will. But this time, FL took over way before that. Imagine cutting off a d**g addict way before they come to terms with the fact that they need help. Something like that. Not sure where I was going with this, but yeah….
