Agree with badjosy… i guess it was done this way to put a different spin on the reincarnation genre as its always broken down in a good way and received well or its kept secret forever. The good thing about this, is that now the king can close off his heart and focus on the training arc , get his nee godlike skills and work on repairing relationships later down the road when he returns.
I think this will be a better part of storytelling as he is no longer friend jesus baby sitting academy, friends and family

Anyone would get mad at hearing your specially the way he told them. Either the router hasa bad way of writing or he intentionally wanted him to hurt and traumatize his parents. Imagine if your born son was possessed at birth. The rest they made him tell the story, sounded like that. He could have said that when he was born he had memories of a past life but in the past life he had no family no love what made him a great fighter, and reason why he was able to fast assimilate combat and magic in this world. Wording differently makes people unsweetened in a different way.
What he tells his dad after outside was better than what he told to the mother inside the house.
She would know that he was born but this time instead of a f up life he had a family, love, people who cared about him and he cared about and he was willing to give his life for since birth. There totally different than saying things the way he said it. Lol. If it was me as a parent i would not want to see how face again and would probably be shocked and traumatized as of someone has taken the body of my son, killing my son and possessing his body at birth.
