You’re free to dislike a story, but at least come up with something solid instead of just tossing out lazy takes. Calling The Beginning After The End “badly written” because it starts slow or uses common tropes is surface-level at best. Most stories build up gradually — not everything needs to drop high-stakes drama in the first few chapters. It’s called pacing and world-building, something a lot of great series do to lay proper groundwork.
Complaining that it’s structured like it’s made for animation isn’t some groundbreaking criticism either — it’s just smart planning. Practically every successful manhwa right now is designed with adaptation in mind, and there’s nothing “stupid” about preparing a story for multiple formats. If anything, it shows confidence in the work.
And short chapters? Welcome to how webcomics and webtoons work. If you’re blasting through them fast, that’s more about your reading speed than the quality of the content.
You don’t have to like it, but if you’re gonna drag it through the mud, try doing it with some proper reasoning. Right now, You’re just throwing words without a single brain cell backing it up

ofc this has a lot of mushoku tensei elements in it. But I wonder if it has a light novel? Because I take this manhwa in consideration is so bad written. It is like they gathered all the cliche stuff and put into it, and to make it worse they divided in 25 chapters season as if it was made for animation. What is stupid. If I take into consideration the first 25 chapters, it is so boring. Nothing actually happened there other than he and his group getting beaten up by some lowly bandits lol. And the chapters are really short when compared to any other manhwa. If I can read 25 chapters of other good manhwas in 2 days, these I can read in 1 because of how short each chapter is. Lets keep going and see if I will still wanna keep reading this as I get to the last chapter released.
I also know that there are many good light novels out there but when they put it into manhwas and animes they suck. But depending on how it goes I won’t even bother to look for a light novel.
I also dropped mushoku tensei when they decided to write a whole arc about the boy penis then made it about his romantic relationships. Why would I want to read about an underage boy who had sex with an underage girl, then he goes on a journey to get his penis back working. lol. Japaneses and their fetishes for children.
