if anything she could’ve just appointed an heir lile she didn’t necessarily have to have children… it doesn’t seem like her bloodline had magical powers or anything like that so i don’t think the child would have to have the blood of the king or queen so she didn’t have to marry

Their obviously talking about producing a heir to the throne but she refuse to do it, so the red head bastard and many other nobels father there just to confirm her death completely.
The guy she put all her trust in poison her, also believe one of those letters he gave her to get married was a letter from him himself. So that he can be king, but all fail because not only did she ignore the constant letters of courtships but ignore the duty of having a heir.
In a way I understand they would not idly sit by because time passed and theirs no heir to throne she’s not very smart. That’s why men dont let women take control over the throne as a True Emperor (The what if no heir)
Where as men can have tons of women to ensure a heir, but a women is not guaranteed a heir
