it’s such a rehash of ‘my happy marriage’ or ‘marriage of convenience’… But much less well done.
In 20 chapters (if it’s not original, at least it’s quick), we’re treated to a flashback to the past after the heroine’s death, the servant who mistreats her even though everyone knows it and no one does anything about it, her dismissal, the flashback of the ML saying why he’s actually been in love with the girl since childhood, because of course he had a difficult childhood, FL’s family asking her for money, she refusing, the threats, the favored sister deciding that she should be the ML’s wife, the kidnapping of FL, the ball with the confrontation. ..
All we need now is for the LF to declare a healthy power and we’ll have all the boxes lol
The only original thing in this lukewarm copy is ML’s enemy, compulsively obsessed with him.
if you’ve got a little too much time on your hands, the drawings are pretty, but don’t expect ANYTHING more than what you’ve already read 10,000 times.

It’s awful, impossibly dumb, and bad. For years, the MC was abused by 1 maid, confined to her room, and ultimately killed by being thrown into a blizzard in just a nightgown. And somehow no one noticed all this? Then, when the MC returns to the past, for first time she simply decides to meet the ML, who turns out to be a pretty chill guy and who doesn’t hate her at all. He’s just busy with work and war. Even so, why would he be the one to approach someone stuck in their room? Yet, she expected him to approach her, despite making no effort herself.

Oh come on. The FL ist just stupid on the first page. No reason to hate this story that much. So far it’s just another romance story about a mistreated FL and a misunderstood ML
