i think the comments missed to mention that Ines wasn’t finding happiness in all of her timeline because of Ines and Carcel’s wish in their first life. Because their first married life was tragic, they both wished for each other’s happiness. But Carcel’s wish had a twist. He wished Ines to be happy even if it wasn’t with him, but he hoped to be given another chance if Ines isnt finding happiness in others and Carcel vowed to never marry again if it wasn’t with Ines.
