here’s second lead syndrome again. spencer may have been a dick at first but its a little heartbreaking to see that he might just genuinely like her. im saying cause of the way he talked to her in the carriage and how he was happy about her excitement. it looked more then obsession or possesiveness… ugh. but it sucks knowing that he isnt just bad thru and thru. why is he actually looking nice with agnes?!?!?! this is what i hate abt love triangles. someone who also loved gets hurt. dpes things they wouldnt do normally for someone they never get

I wonder why they changed it?! In the novel Agnes goes to the ball with Kylo, and she goes around introducing him to nobles. Spencer goes with Lady Devon as a last resort since Agnes turns him down and bitterly looks at Kylo since he got match with and escort Agnes. I don’t understand why they couldn’t stick to the novel’s version 🤨

She agreed to everything the CP asked for is because he agreed to keep jackass away from her if she played along for the ball. Didn’t you read there conversation if she wants him gone for good she needs his help the king his preparing to step down so the CP is gaining more power, she can run to the king for now and he can protect her but once he steps down the CP will just merry her off to jack ass. Working with the CP and playing his stupid games may seem stupid but as long as he is a man of his word and so for looks like he is it just works

Oh… I can’t take it. She’s doing everything he asks just to look good in front of the nobles?? I thought she wanted to “humiliate” this dude and put Kylo on the spotlight but… All she’s doing is the opposite. Tbh it doesn’t even make sense. Yeah, I get it.
