Realisme and shiet aside just like the “marriage of convenience” although I hate how the FL father justify marrying his underage (like literally child) to a grown man (I’m not sure how older ML compared to FL but he’s already adult when he met ML father) because he thought that would make her more “mature” or whatever shitty excuse he had with the setting in mind of middle ages it’s not far fecth to find underage marriages especially with the setting that it’s not transmigration lots of questionable act will be present as well like having concubine, having affair, illegitimate child etc etc.

In historical/fantasy manhwa like this I feel the reverse of what japanese Manga often did. It’s that the ML in the story who’s most of time a royalty would have only one lover although it’s appealing as romance it’s just don’t make sense since lots of emperor before that has many concubine may it be for political reason or whatsoever. The Japanese manga literally the opposite most of time that the main characters will have Harem but literally no noble especially the parents of the female in the main characters harem had a concubine or even more than 1 wife.

Also, you all have to realize that people think differently around these times. I’m not saying he’s a good guy, he’s a HORRIBLE PERSON but they way they think is not the same as now. Rape is a horrible thing now, but most people didn’t care back then. It doesn’t necessarily mean she has Stockholm Syndrome it just means that she’s thinks differently then, I’m also not denying that she does have Stockholm Syndrome it’s very possible she does. Love was also a think that people didn’t care very much about then too. Most people married because of sexual attraction or for financial gain.

It is pretty natural for her to think like that because putting stockholm syndrome aside, he is the first man in her life that she’s been this intimate with and he is also handsome… but if it was modern times and she was more experienced I don’t think she would still think of him like that…
