This isn’t how Stockholm Syndrome works. She isn’t dependent on him because of abuse, she WANTS to be there. The definition of Stockholm Syndrome: feelings of trust or affection felt in many cases of kidnapping or hostage-taking by a victim toward a captor. Now it’s not ONLY kidnapping victims that have Stockholm Syndrome, but based on her actions I’m saying she doesn’t. Someone with Stockholm Syndrome cares more about their abuser than their own lives. She would choose her children and family over him in a heartbeat. That in itself shows it’s not Stockholm syndrome.
