The plot is definitely contrived. I thought she had something else to tell him but she just wanted help, which is understandable but she even knows getting healers are hard. She just came and told him to do it, she didn’t have any sort of plan or anything. That is such a weird thing to do. Just up and travel to a Duke you think murdered his wives to ask him for help? Huh?? Logic=gone.

This is those most ridiculous trope lmaoo they couldn’t come up with anything else?? I just find it hard to believe he who knew the king as a child and as youthful as he still is, be forced to web a bride when all his other have died.. at this point live in your own domain?! Idk I just don’t get why he’s so obedient and why he has to coerce some village girl to play a role.. anything for a love plot tho right 💀🤣
