Count/ baron is their rank. Just because someone is rich doesn’t mean that their rank goes up. Even merchants can be rich but they’re not born into nobility. It’s all about ranks.

Yea sometimes the reasonings/plot are not logical but I think in this case it’s cause he’s not actually a Baron but the Crown Prince in disguise (according to the synopsis) hence the quotation marks. So yea he’s def wealthy lol

@manganism you should also think logically here , because her father is no longer alive so there is no a bread winner , so that maybe one reason she is poor
(Sometimes titles does’t have to do anthing with wealth )

What, the Baron is more financially well off than the Count? FL is from a Count’s family but poor. And a Baron is the least or lowest in the rank in nobility. I already lost interest in this story.
