There is actually allot more to the spoiler down below but I have been holding back from spoiling bec it’s more fun and thriller to read without knowing the spoiler and also personally if someone spoils the plot in the comments I wouldn’t be able to hold back from reading 😭 even with spoiler alert written that’s me personally but if anyone wants some spoilers on swan etc I will 🤓☝🏻

***apparently Swann might actually be the Duchess (the mom) disguised or regressed using a holy relic. Like the Duchess maybe faked her death and then disguised herself with the holy relic to be by Lillian’s side? That’s not totally clear to me in translation and might be wrong tbh, but Swann has some connection to the Duchess. Lillian is the real daughter, but Swann was acting as a decoy “real daughter” to trick the evil church that was plotting to kill her or something. So it seems like Swann was basically raising Lillian and preparing her with the knowledge she’d need in the future, and Swann intentionally sacrificed herself so that Lillian could survive and finally meet her father when he returned. ****
