I might sound stupid right now but head me out. It’s possible that jet black hair and blonde hair parents can have a brunette haired child as long as one of them have the recessive allele for brunette hair. So the might actually be twins

Yeah i agree with you @EvalleB since most ppl i know that have blonde hair usually have brown hair at first then their hair develop and turns into blonde

MC and Swan must be twins. Too many coincidences. Her brown eyes matches the duke when he was younger, her eyes even shine green in the light (also apparently has flecks of green normally), she has a strong bond with Swan like that of sisters, arrived at the orphanage at the same time, and her name is Lily like the symbol of the duke’s family. Maybe she has brown hair now because she was born blonde (like the duchess) but it darkened as she’s aged. It’s possible.

Yessss I agree! Plus, maybe one of the grandparents has brown hair, meaning that brown hair is also a trait that can be passed down, even if one parent is blonde or has black hair

She has to be a fraternal twin with swan. Its too many things thats hint to it. Missy got simliar eyes to the father when young. They are more green than brown. She had a special bond with swan, also brown hair is genetically common ground between black and blonde hair parents. Plus she cunning and smart too.
