Well, I think the sword itself is not a cursed sword, but its speciality is amplifying bloodlust and rage related effects, so the stagnant malice of humans remains with the sword when it kills people. That is possibly the reason why the weilder goes mad with the massive amounts of foreign bloodlust that the sword injects into him. If you manage to hold out until all that stagnant bloodlust is consumed, you might actually be able to hear the will of the sword and make a contract with it. it is interesting. I really want to know what the story behind the sword is.
