@Fatsa30 he fell for her the moment she cried while trapped inside her body by the sword. He realised she was fighting constantly to get her body back and that is the reason he kept her alive. He wanted her to regain control of her body and find happiness. Even when he returned to Azenka he wanted to subdue her and seperate her from the sword, not kill her. If he actually went all out and plunged at her, she wouldn’t stand a chance. His sword is the oldest of all the Giosas and it is also the thw sword that has remained in an awakened state for the most amount of time(it was awake from the beginning as it requested the blacksmith to make it remained awakend as soon as it gained a will). Comparing the awakened period of Rangagiosa to Verdegiosa is like comparing the lifespan of the Sun to the lifespan of a candlelight Ragnagiosa has been perpetually awake and is thousands of years old, mentally. Though Verdegiosa was also forged clost in time to Ragnagiosa, it was never awake for long. Verdegiosa literally has a mental age of less than 50 years(like I said, candlelight and Sun).
