the crown prince sent 2nd lady Diasant to Yurien so that the support that’s backing the 3rd prince (the fans- I mean people) would be absorb by the 1st prince by marriage (1st prince wife is the eldest lady Diasant, but it’s by the will of the Duke Diasant… who is also silently supporting the 2nd prince and gave them Val) but after knowing how strong and capable our Echi is on handling Val, the 1st prince silently thanked that the engagement didn’t went through for the fear of being hated by Val’s master, Echi (at that point, everyone knows that Yurien and Echi were alrdy in a relationship)
