Basically Yurien lokked at Eki for more than 5 second xD and second prince was like OH he likes her so im gonna destroy him by sacrificing her xD and in the end he was sacrificed with his whole imperial familya whole imperium cause they didnt know what was eki capable of xD and NOW he sweating buckets causehe sent the cursed sword and NOTHING happened

@simpinslit you’re actually right about that! but it wasn’t a spy, it was the 2nd prince who saw, how Yurien looked at Echi’s way bc the color of her ‘soul’ was intriguing (him seeing the color of the soul has something to do with RanGiosa), that shitty 2nd prince mistook it as Yurien being ‘interested’ at Echi at that time, when he doesn’t even know her at that time

Wow, that’s a lot of lore to process. I bet some spy saw the way ML was looking at her in the ballroom that day and decided to use FL as a pawn to crush any joy or ambitions he had left. I also wonder how the perpetrator/s reacted to not getting their way. They sound cold/cunning instead of the overused hot-tempered/delulu kind. It’s like they’re playing chess, and when something fails they swiftly change the course, which will still connect them to their big finale goal.
