Having seen people in greef losing a loved one anything, no matter how small or stupid it may be, they will try to get rid of things that remind them of their lost love or poor themselves into work to ignore the pain and loss. So as much as I will say the dad made the wrong choice, it’s not unheard of or too unusual, especially if there is a strong rumor that the child isn’t yours, as the last thing you want to consider is infidelity.
