I think he worded it okay for how desperate he is and how much he’s using his brain in that time. I also don’t think about my words when I’m put in a difficult situation

That last bit was a step too far, he should have worded it differently.
“I figured this out in the 5 minutes I’ve spent talking with her majesty, wouldn’t you like to find out what I could do with a full career serving you?” Rough but along those lines. You can definitely tell he’s desperate at the end.
