In the Philippines the circumcision are also done during 10-12yo, there are instances where they circumcise newborns but sometimes some people do circumcision again during 10-12yo. Even if you go early they will not circumcise you if you’re still not “tagpos” (I don’t know the term in english). I only knew because my youngest brother tried to get circumcised multiple times but they didn’t accept him cause as they said he’s not ” tagpos” enough yet…

What I never understood about the Korean circumcision custom is why do they do it when the boys are between 10 and 12 as opposed to when they’re newborns like the jews. It’s less traumatizing if they not able remember.
