Everything is always just for show. 😮💨 I might just drop it here. Everything is just so lazy. Stealing his life vessels and the lich wouldn’t notice? Ok. Doubt that. Why even call out Unknown either? “We got caught. They caught us man.” No. Unknown didn’t. YOU got him caught. You just put his life in jeopardy. He could have continued stealing as the fight continued. I can’t even remember if mc still uses his speed ring. Everything is so convenient for mc but he’s also conveniently unable to handle certain situations and needs to be saved. Good thing he has the one specific thing he needs to get him through. 🥴 he literally would have died to the ice queen if it wasn’t for the holy fire god being prayed to. They try to make mc seem cool but we see him greedy for profit, act like lives don’t matter in a childish way, and quickly lose his temper. It’s not a matter of “that’s what makes him human” no. He’s just generic and pathetic. They try to make him seem like he’s better than he is. “Dragon slayer” this, sword master that. Where? He’s barely showing any skill or intelligence at all during a fight. He’s just getting hard carried by his items. Every. Single. Time. That just reconfirmed my desire to drop this. He’s barely showing any skills that would reflect his previous life. It’s always his knowledge of the past and the items he conveniently acquired that gets him through. He’s got the sword skills of the mercenary king and a “dragon slayer” but it’s pathetic every time he uses it. He’s always weaker than everyone else and relies on plot. Every. Time.
