It makes zero sense why she wouldn’t discuss the Princess with Elkinas. If she thinks he doesn’t know why wouldn’t she warn him? It’s frustrating when authors decide to create drama that doesn’t need to be there and isn’t serving the story at all. Except for some weird trope of “I’ll do it all by myself because…. because…. I just will!”
