I think Rachel is a regressor and have memories of her past life (original story of the novel) she’s lying about her memory lost and wanted to get close with FL so that she can bring FL with her to save her brother from dying as the original story goes. As said to the previous chapters before Rachel leave her house she said she had a nightmare (which is the scene of her brother losing control of his power) and she also said to her brother that she will save him this time that’s why she left the house.
