Well, no, this chapter is soooo unrealistic and disappointing that I think to drop.
This twist just killed the story who was so good so far.
The guy is a major serial killer who just shooted her cousin and nearly kill her too, but they don’t tie him up to make an emergency call to get the police paramedics there. No, they just let him be, to simply go to report to the next police station who and where the killer is, without any proof. Then they quietly walk (with an injured leg) to home. WTF!!!!!
And I don’t even talk about the corrupted police small fry able to entirely cover-up the disapearance case who makes all the national headlines… of course.
