Or it’s just me who read way too many dark manga/manhwas and now I am in constant fear of a good and sweet character being killed for main character or side character development

The mc is too pure for this world
And I feel bad for Judith after she find out what happened to her master
And I feel like the sister of the main character is gonna be used as character development
For example: the demons somehow kill lance the sister finds out that her crush died she goes to get revenge mc find out she went there and is fighting he goes to save her but he was too late he sees her die in front of him then he sees the true color of this world now he has 2 choices
One go evil this world shall know pain
Or two get angry get a time skip or get mad and go beat up all the demons then die or survive and live with regrets of not being able to save his sister
