The fact that a few seconds later, she is smiling. I wish I could jump through the screen and smack him back. I don’t like how they just randomly [put in a slap. It doesn’t make any sense in the story.
I’m so glad I’m not the only one thinking bout that slap. Scolding her would make more sense. I would be extremely upset if my brother slapped me just because I try to not make them worry too much after working so hard for years protecting them who isn’t even aware of their surroundings.
Completely agree with Sugarboots I wanted to feel the emotion coming from it but I just couldn’t relate to the scene it made me feel upset more than happy for her that her siblings care
That slap was unwarranted, you hit her and then hug her with a smile and an apology? Yikes.
I know it’s just for dramatic effect, but still, author should know that shit doesn’t fly these days 😬
