i’ve being wondering what is the use of this academy because until now the teachers aren’t teaching anything, they do a test to enter the academy and when they arrive they keep doing multiple test and competitions, this is basically just a facillity for self study with the teachers there as bodyguards (when they can) and to give a opinion (maybe)

Consider what they’re training the students to become, there really is no “curriculum” to being a hero. They can build a solid foundation by getting the promising candidates to learn about history, useful techniques, and provide a competitive environment where the students will constantly have their will and creativity be tested.
I’d say it’s the best they can do, because a hero is someone who builds themselves up into greatness. You can’t really “teach” someone to be a hero, you can only show them the way, and that’s the purpose of the academy, a place that gives promising young ones the resources, opportunities, and roadmaps to finding their own way to be a hero. It’s why they focus so much on challenges and tests, it’s to keep the hero candidates on their toes and building up that determination that every hero needs.
