No matter what anyone else says the Mc is right. It shouldn’t be up to a little girl to be more understanding than adults. In fact she doesn’t have to forgive them at all even if they treat her better. Honestly the whole random change of emotions for everyone is so dumb too. Like I hate when “smart” characters supposedly can’t connect dots for years then suddenly gain a massive intelligence boost. You’re telling men who have been taking care of a land and its people can’t even see through the emotions of a little girl who isn’t even good at hiding it? Not to mention they think constantly calling her an illegitimate child and saying stuff about her mom that she’s supposed to just not feel anyway? As for the prince saying they’re doing it out of love if we’re being fr how did he go from not understanding why his mom who he tried to kill was crying because her son tried to kill her suddenly become and expert in family love like that makes no sense. It’s also laughable that they’re apparently more strict in teaching an half commoner daughter than the person who’s supposed to become the duke in the future because the cousin is such an idiot.
