He is her childhood friend, you can’t cut off someone like that without giving good reason, it’s ridiculous. That’s not how life works.
FL is a trash friend, everybody around her are either dumb or jerks, the pacing is bad and the translation is awful. Dropping this.

Tao Yao… the FL quite literally said the following:
“I dont give a F- about that young master, I don’t even care for our childhood relationship. He is dog waste and theirs no need for us to meet up any more”. She even wrote him a letter saying “lets sevour ties.” Keeping in mind, he is her father’s boss’s son. She can’t be disrespectful if her father wants to keep a job.
What about that screams “doesn’t convert intensions” to you?
Bruh. Respectfully, if you where a character in this novel, you’d be the ML.

People just so gullible. But I think the problem also lies on the FL as well. She doesn’t convert her intentions properly and keeps talking in ambiguous ways that lead people to continually misunderstand her purpose.
No offense but, it felt like she was a loser character that keeps complain but never say what she truly feels straight on face until it was too fcking late.
