Ok so the dad might have had a good reason to be a deadbeat, I’ll give him that
But knowing he did all that in the original too and he still failed since the OG Layla died, I just…. I can’ really cut him some slack you know. I mean technically he failed and the only reason he didn’t is because that’s not even his daughter anymore but he doesn’t even realize that.
