Not sure about all the hateful comments on the MC as someone pointed out she only knows about war. She was raised in a dysfunctional family never seeing her father until she was 16, then being sent to war around that same time. I don’t have children but my personality is similar to hers and I can understand why she doesn’t know how to handle children not everyone can, and fyi she does notice stuff every now that’s why she was against sending her to school and then that is why she was trying to cancel the interview. She is trying to provide that child a better life than she had. If you paid attention you will see it. Is she perfect hell no but who is on there first try that’s why they say you don’t raise your children right until your on your third. So next time how about doing some thinking.

I like the story. I don’t understand the “not understanding how to raise a child because she never had one before” since from the perspective of someone who practically raised myself and my younger brother I would think that she’d naturally understand certain things. With that said, she is doing her best and also doing her best to reflect when things go wrong. Calling her dumb is just plain wrong and she’s not the only one not raising the child properly, no one around has been doing it right but that’s why there’s a thing called learning from your mistakes.

You guys are forgetting that she was a Dame who only knew how to fight wars. Even when she retired, she never lived a normal life. She retreated to the mountains and decided to live in seclusion because of the guilt she felt. And here you are, asking that kind of a person to understand the inner workings of a little child. It is not her that has zero braincells, its you guys. You need to observe how people behave to undersatnd their actions and reactions, and she has never observed how children behave, so its natural that she does not know anything.

I wish she could take some child raising classes and read the fucking book! She should at least know some stuff, then take accountability for the child, she can clearly see that the child is distressed, I wish she could work on that before she even exposed her to her knights and kindergarten too. The child is top scarred and can’t understand some other stuff. Her interpretation of things is also distorted! She has to help the child with her mental health first. I don’t know how she didn’t even think of that. This manhwa is trash, the storyline is trash. It’s supposed to be about her and Nia but I barely see any interaction with Nia, she doesn’t even try to know Nia or learn how to do motherly duties. Yes she can’t take care of a child out of nowhere but you have to start somewhere and I don’t even see her starting anywhere. Yes she bought the book. But did she use it? No. Is she trying to understand Nia? No… I understand that she’s dumb to emotions but this is just taking it too far, idc whether she’s a returner or what, there are signs and she’s ignoring them so idc, she’s trash, the story is trash, deserves 1/5 star🚮 the writer needs to Polish their writing skills, we’re already at chapter fucking 14 man! It’s like it was written by those 15 year old wattpad kids smh.

Hmm, I slightly agree with your comment, but not entirely.
She dies of old age, but the doesn’t mean she can take care of a child out of nowhere. But the way she is portrayed as is what I am having a problem with.
If her child is pale and distressed at the mere sight of people then start small, not throwing her in a kindergarten full of noble snobs that would bully the hell out of her child.
The way that she ignores clear signs like this and the way that weaves a narrative in her mind instead of asking or communicating with her child is kinda dumb.
And to the people who will respond to this comment saying that she is inexperienced and all the shenanigans, and excesses that justify the FL’s actions please stop.
You may not have had a child before but can at least manage your way for some time on the other hand our FL is comically portrayed as the clueless clumsy overpowered mother as you might have guessed by now.
And the ML needs a redesign or something that soft bright boy image is not matching with her very well.

FMC IS SO DUMB, THE STORY IS SO DUMB! SHE DIED OF OLD AGE AND STILL HAS ZERO BRAINCELL. The FMC is on a fck’n spectrum. When the child is clearly in distress, she just stares at her like a retard.
