Everyone, relax. If you have no memories of yourself, you’re lost and then treated like trash for years, you can’t just suddenly stand up. You’ll remain a doll forever, except if there’s a drastical change. The fl isn’t at fault here. That’s just how they made her be. She knows no different so she can’t just change. It’s like saying “You’re sad? Then don’t be!” It’s not easy.

I wish everyone would stop calling the FL stupid. We don’t know yet. What we DO know is that she’s been abused and traumatized for the past 8 years, which is all she knows since she doesn’t have memories past that. She’s been trained to be this way. The way this story is set up, it seems to be ABOUT her learning how to live normally. If it’s not your cup of tea, don’t read it, but don’t misunderstand the intent of the author here. This girl doesn’t know anything beyond the negative things she’s experienced. She feels no self-worth. It’ll probably be 40 episodes before we see strong growth because it takes a LONG TIME to heal from this amount of abuse.
