Because Ced is secretly a prince of a different nation and needs to hide his identity.
Okay basically this chapter showed 1) a priest from the holy land who came over to tell Ced that basically, Ced getting captured and becoming the princesses slave was all part of the Holy Lands plan all along 2) they need him to keep sleeping with Raha 3) because the bracelet they just gave to Ced will collect biodata on the princess 4) this biodata will help them figure out a way to kill Karzen, bc as you remember, due to Rahas blessed eyes, it’s impossible to kill Raha or Karzen due to the blessing to the royal family 5) the priests know that Raha already knows all of this but they don’t tell Ced that Raha knows 6) knows all of this, that’s why she invited a jeweler in the first place so that way the holy land could send in their spies 7) Raha knows Ced needs to sleep with her, she’s fine with it because wants to die 8) but Ced doesn’t know Raha knows so now he feels guilty and like he’s deceiving her
