Gladys was a political marriage (nowhere Bjorn says he had any kind of feelings for him, and we all know from Gladys herself she wanted the position, and wanted Bjorn back only for him to reclaim his position)….
IfBjorn had truly wanted, don t any of you think he could he avoid marrying Erna . It s not as if a quiet, beautiful, docile woman would have been hard for him to find. He s being dishonest about Gladys for some reasons, and he s being dishonest for his own feelings regarding lot of people, Erna included.
